DPM Finishing

Rubika® is able to package finishing information inside a PDF file so that printers and other devices that support DPMs (Document Part Metadata) can process the PDF directly without the need to convert it to PostScript or another format in order to embed device level (setpagedevice) commands that are not native to PDF.

The “finishing” information added by the DPM Finishing step can include both media commands (controlling the physical medium for printing) and finishing commands (controlling stapling, binding, jogging, etc.). The DPM Finishing module supports converting existing Xerox DPM finishing information into Solimar finishing annotations.
