Solimar Systems and Canon Solutions America Announce Strategic Alliance

The new combined offering will provide enhanced print workflow solutions for the professional printing community.

San Diego, Calif., March 19, 2019 – Solimar Systems, Inc., today announced an alliance with Canon Solutions America Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc. The combined offering will build on the proven, market-leading technologies of both companies to offer Canon Solutions America customers workflow enhancement, management, tracking and reporting solutions for their complex printing operations.

This alliance will enable in-plant/in-house printers and print services providers to leverage the Solimar® Chemistry™ platform with Canon Solution America’s robust offering of solutions and devices, including inkjet presses, to help streamline onboarding and workflow processes, to enhance process visibility, and to allow for post-composition optimization and enhancement of production print and finishing workflows. By combining innovative hardware with intelligent software solutions, businesses can add value to existing documents, helping to increase postal savings, lower print, and packaging costs, and efficiently adopt advanced process automation.
